Hi there,

We are having some trouble with one Outlook Client.

Outlook it´s set up to send HTML formated mails but the cleints receive TXT mails.

When we look on the Outbox we see the mail formated correctly with all colors and pictures but the received mails are on TXT with the pictures attached.

I have disabled the Antivirus on the client to no avail... Any ideas as to what may be happening? COuld the Kerio Mailserver (6.5.1) be the culprit?

I don't believe the kerio mail server does anything to mail contents unless there are spam or virus issues.

You haven't given any information to use other that a brief description of the problem. Does this only happen with one recipient?

What happens when you send the message to two different recipients? Do they get the same text formatting?

What happens when you send the file to the same recipient using outlook, kerio webmail, yahoo or gmail?

Can you look at the actual source file in the outlook outbox and at the recipient site? I know outlook makes it really difficult but if you are using IMAP or MAPI, you should be able to use kerio wenmail to access the outbox and see the mail source file. You van also send it to yourself and see the source file in the kerio webmail inbox.

Hi,

It happens to all recipients, if we send the mail to 2 or more it affects all of them.

The message in the Outbox it's Ok but the one on the clients is only text... nothing to explain what's the problem that I can see.

Didn't try to send it via Webmail because the mail is formated using Templates for Outlook (Other users use the same templates and they have no problems).

More Ideas? And... Thanks for the answer!!

Can you go to webmail and look in the Sent Items there? Is the mail in HTML or Text?

This is common bug in antivirus plug-ins when adding a footer "Scanned with ..." to outgoing messages in Outlook. Make sure there is no AV plugin installed and try it again.

What is Outlook set to send as? In Outlook 2K goto Tools -> Options -> Mail Format (tab) and see if it is set to send as HTML or Plain Text
