I've been running the latest version on a test box before upgrading, plenty of mail is being chucked through it, I've been marking mail as spam, and some as not spam.

I'm now looking at the Bayesian filter statistics, it tells me the filter status is 'Learning' yet the number of messages learned as spam/not spam isn't going up.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

There are thresholds for Auto-Learn. Also, Bayes must have learned more than 200 ham and spam mails before it starts running.

You can use the "SpamAssassin Processing" entry in the debug log to see if Auto-Learn is kicking in or if it is under thresholds.

Yes, seems like a corruption. Stop the mail server and move the contents of

\store\spamassassin\bayes

to a temp folder. When you start the server, the files will be recreated. I have the following files in this folder:

auto-whitelist.dir
auto-whitelist.pag
bayes_journal
bayes_seen.dir
bayes_seen.pag
bayes_toks.dir
bayes_toks.pag
