Hi Guys,

First post for me.

Ok, we are using Kerio WinRoute Firewall 6.5 and Avast Pro 4.8 at one of our clients.
The client machines is running Avast. We need the clients to go through Kerio WinRoute Firewall proxy (to block sites and check stats). That is working great.

Now, we need to let Avast update even if the user has not yet authenticated to the proxy. Other words, if the PC starts up and Avast wants to update, it should be able even though the PC has not been to internet (Inserted Username and Password).

Can any of you help? I have a rule that states any traffic to
*avast.com* is allowed and no authentication is neccesary.
But still Avast tells us that it needs to authenticate against the proxy.

Thank you in advance.

PS:
Clients: Mostly XP SP2
Server : XP SP3
