The Kerio manual states that some devices can be hard reset.

This Kerio piece implies ONLY calendar, address, and mail can be wiped, that is, just Kerio data.

I'd prefer being able to hard reset the iPhone. Is that possible?

Do you know if it can be wiped while the iphone is turned off? My phone was stolen and it is currently turned off (calling it goes straight to voicemail). If i initiate the wipe, will it go through? I know you mentioned it reset the entire phone - I am assuming that it erased all personal, non kerio data too - i.e. pics, videos, texts, non kerio email accounts, etc?

Also - when you do the wipe, I am assumes that your contacts and emails that are synced with ActiveSync still remain on Kerio, correct? I know when I deleted something from the iphone (email or contact) on a synced account, it would remove that item from kerio server as well - I hope this doesn't happen during a wipe...

Thanks in advance for your help!

It's been a while since I forced a wipe, but if I remember correctly it will tell you it needs to update a security policy as soon as it turns on and checks for new mail. However, I think they need to agree to the update before it wipes the phone. Otherwise, I think it's a brick til they do. It's been a while since I tried a wipe and it was on a blackberry. YMMV
