Around 5 the server reset itself and then <_a.t_> 5:10 our mail went
crazy. lost all the current and it resent old email??

Not seeing anything obvious on the system other than the reboot. Looks
like we may have lost some of the log for email though since there is a
gap between March 14th and when the system was rebooted


Any ideas about this?

In the KMS Mail log, do you see anything unusual just after the restart? I guess, some mails have been held in the queue and just got released after the reboot?

Have a look at the actual queue as well. Also enable debug log for the SMTP client and check if the mails go out properly.
