I'm a new french user of kwf 5, please what should i do to make edonkey work with kwf ?

Simply allow all outgoing connections to the Internet for that computer (and set NAT translation). Other clients use many different ports for incoming connections.

For better results you should also allow incoming connections. You will then act as client in active mode so other clients can make connection to you.

Create an appropriate rule in Traffic policy to allow specific TCP/UDP connections from the Internet to some port. Set this rule to map (DNAT) connections to the machine you are running eDonkey. Set this port as the incoming in eDonkey (optionally you must set also firewall public IP address there).

I use emule (based on edonkey network) with no problems with the following Traffic Policies:

Allow the emule computer to allow all traffic to:
TCP/UDP 4661
TCP/UDP 4672

After using it, I deny the traffic in that ports to prevent unauthorized access.
