I am trying to figure how is Entourage syncing to the server.

It seem to be on a schedule even if i have a exchange configuration in my account

I wish it would be pushing it live and not at every x minutes

Does anyone notice this behavior?

You should start troubleshooting by disabling the scheduler within entourage. Look for it in the Extras menu.

Entourage is using UDP reverse channel for notifications ("push") from the server. Unfortunately, this can work only if there is a direct connection between the client and the server (ie. in LAN). If there is any firewall, proxy server or NAT, UDP notification does not come through and Entourage can use only scheduler for periodical synchronization.

It is how client works. It cannot be changed on the server. We did not choose this way of notifications - server only implements it.
