I am getting this error on our clients mail server (6.6.2)

"McAfee engine failed to initialize: A support DLL could not be loaded"

I have removed the mcafee folder, as well as the avirs and avserver plugins. Then reinstalled over the top. This did not fix the issue.


Anyone have any ideas?

If you have a separate AV program on the server, add the EICAR file to the exceptions list.

Location is: C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\store\tmp\eicar.tmp on a Windows Server.

If a separate program catches that file before Kerio does, it will not load the AV plugin.
