I installed Kerio 6.6.2. Install went smoth enough. I have a public IP the Kerio system is currently running on, i have dns A record pointing to the KMS, i have an mx record for the domain that points to the A record that points to the KMS server. Internal mail send and recieves fine. When I send to hotmail, or send from hotmail into my kerio server nothing goes through. I have messgaes queued in my kerio box, but the error i get is that it can't connect to the external mx server. PS, i also have reverse DNS published for the dns name and IP for kerio. Help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if someone knows a good way to put Kerio behind a cisco router that would be awesome. Thanks again.

I think you have two problems:

1. Outgoing mail doesn't work

2. Incoming mail doesn't work

Regarding 1.: Make sure that DNS on the KMS server is configured properly. Try to ping, for example, from the KMS Server. If you can't resolve the name, check that your DNS entries in the TCP/IP config are correct.

Regarding 2.: If you provide me with your domain name, I can check if I can reach your KMS and if it responds properly. Also, If you send from, let's say, Hotmail to your KMS, do you get an error message in Hotmail? If so, what is it exactly?
