Hi, I just got a new Nokia E75 and iSync doesn´t support it.

Apparently syncin calendars through "Mail for Exchange" doesn´t work either. I got the exchange mail work with Kerio but calendars doesn´t sync (with push / active sync).

Do I have to wait for Kerio to make an update for this or have someone found a workaround for this?

What version of KMS are you using?
What version of MFE are you using?

Regards,

Leon

We have KMS v6.6.1 build 7069

Do you mean MFE in the Nokia E75? If so, I don´t know where to look for it..

You can find the version of MFE in application management. I've got a dutch menu so can't help you with the exact path.
It's the menu where you have a list of installed applications. One of them is "Mail for Exchange". When you click details, you can see the version number.

in my experience Mail for Exchange sucks. It's not very reliable and tends to freeze up on the phone = no more push mail until you restart the phon.

If you can afford it, use RoadSync - I have it on my e61i and I am very happy with it.

I don't see your phone listed in the release notes of the latest version of MFE.

http://www.businesssoftware.nokia.com/mail_for_exchange/file s/MailForExchange_2_9_158_Release_Notes.pdf

Also, some bugs which might cause MFE to stop synchronising are solved.

Currently I'm using MFE and Roadsync together on one phone. That way I can sync two (mail) profiles (personal/work).

First of all, Nokia E75 has MfE inbound into it's new e-mail client.

I couldn't make it work eather: once I was able to synchronize (but not with attachments), but after a while it refused to work, and all the connections stocked until timed out on the firewall.

At the same time, MfE 2.7 works very nicely.

Perhaps the realization of the ActiveSync is not complite in Kerio? Once I tried to use DataViz, but it just refused to synchronize, since Kerio did not support all the commands of the ActiveSync protocol

You might want to run some debug on the activesync protocol and paste it here. Roadsync V4 is working fine here on Kerio 6.6.1 and 6.6.2. Should not matter on what nokia it is installed.

How can I do it in a Kerio? Are there any options? Or should I use Wireshark for that purpose?

You can do that from the Kerio Admin Console.

Go to logfiles, debug.

Then click right in the messages window, select "messages" and then scroll down to "http server modules" and then select "Activesync synchronisation".

Hmmm seems to be some sort of locking issue? See bellow for a correct sync (with KMS 6.6.2 and Roadsync V4).

Latest version of KMS doesn't support Nokia E75. You can download email/calender/contacts, but anything created on E75 isn't synced back.

Well, that is not a great news. Sad

How can folks from the Kerio say, that it is a perfect replacement of the Exchange, when an ActiveSync implementation (which is not very difficult, btw) isn't working? Sad

However, once I've been able to sync E75 with the KMS, and I've been even able to send some message. But, after a while, it just refused to work.

I think, that there should be something with that blocking - seems like some deadlock occurs, which prevents E75 from synchronizing. Perhaps, MfE in E75 is using some features, which KMS doesn't support? I remember, that once I tried to use RoadSync 4 with the KMS, and it was not able even to start the synchronization - Sad

Does anyone has an experience of using RoadSync 4 with the KMS?

That sync looks very similar to the one I've got during the synchronization with the MfE 2.7
