Hello together,

we are an local government... We have more than one combination of chief and secretary.

I have provide the calendar and the contacts of the chief to use by the secretary.

At one Team, i have linked (ln -s ../chief/Calendar .) the chief's Calendar to the folder of the secretary. And i see all events in this calendar. Is this a practical workaround or will there be problems soon, during the work?

Sorry for my english.

Thanks for all help!

Thomas

the normal way to do this is for the chief to share his calendar with the secretary (in webmail, log in as the chief, right click on his calendar and give the secretary either read or write/admin permissions).

this can be done with infinite couples of chief/secretary.

This is really bad idea. You should expect folder locks, message deleting and synchronization of iPhone, mobile devices, iCal and Kerio Outlook Connector will not work properly (or perhaps it will not work at all).

Creating links in the message store is bad. Really.
