Hello

Our old Kerio server was on its deathbed so we migrated to another one. The process involved is described below:

This is a debian 5.0 server (come on kerio, throw us debian users a bone)

1) Install kerio 6.4.1 via alien to the new server
2) rsync old /store to new /store

Problems:

On my machine, I can get sent, but bodies aren't showing up
On boss man's client #1 can't receive bodies
On boss man's client #2 can't receive anything after a certain date

I guess the real question is what do I need to do besides rsynch /store, mailserver.cfg, and users.cfg over to the new server?

Thanks

Check permissions. I've done lots of migrations (am doing a 110GB migration via rsync right now) and haven't seen that problem.

Also check the index.fld files to see if they're borked.

Thanks for the reply. Permissions are the next thing I'm going to check.

But how do I check to see if index.fld is borked?

If you're having issues with mailbox contents that's usually the culprit.

You will lose any flagging of emails in the corresponding mailbox but that beats not having email.
