howdy

as the kerio license counts the number of user accounts as opposed to the number of active user accounts i have been doing the following to keep our user numbers down whilst still having access to email for employees that have left the company:

- created a "email archive" user
- delete a users account who has left the company and opted to copy all of the email data to the above account

so far this process has worked well... and all old user emails are available

is this the best way to go about this?

also

i have noticed... that despite the fact that this email archive account now holds upwards of 10 former employees emails... the statistics in domain settings>users only shows 200mb of data is stored under that users account (when i know that it is at least 10-15 gb)... is there any way of getting these statistics to reflect the true value of data stored?

thanks

Yout might try stopping the mail server briefly, then deleting the "stats.usr" file in the "email archive' user's mail folder. Restart the mail services and Kerio will re-generate the file.
