we're running mail server on sendmail about 3000 users on it. We want to shift our mail server from sendmail to kerio. I want to ask, can we shift our users from sendmail to kerio like emails, passwords etc.

There's a Kerio Migration utility that can log into your sendmail server and move the email to your new Kerio server. It requires a .csv file with usernames/passwords of all the users on the imap server however.

Thanks for quick response.I can import users from .csv file easily it doesn't create any problem at all.But I want to use passwords which are in /etc/shadow file. when i use encrypted password ( for example:$1$vGQxinP3$b0zElUa6mHTRMH5brYqfn0:) from /etc/shadow in .csv file in the password field it does not work.when in use text in the password filed (for example "magic" ) (in .csv file) it does work.

You usually can't move passwords from one system to another, in fact if you could that would be a HUGE security problem.

What I've done in these situations is to recreate their passwords to something easily remembered, like username1234 and then have them log in and change them on their own once the migration occurred.
