Dear All,

i have problem in kerio winroute
i am trail user. i enable user authantication in KWF
user not able to access http services without authantication but user useing pop3,smtp, and other software without authantication how to protect internet ,

i check this with my pda. i install Skyfire in my pocket pc and connect internet trough KWF , amaging thing that i got no authanticate page and successfully access internet..

Please tell me how i protect my internet usage with KWF

Kerio winroute firewall only asks for authentication when users are trying to connecto to the internet ( surf on the web ), for others services like : DNS, IMAP, POP3, SMTP and such, kerio does not ask for authentication.

This is how it works.

A way to protect what mail server your users acces is to ony allow the smtp, pop3 service to that determined ip address ( wich is going to be the address of your server - mail server ).
