Hi,
Yes like for each KMS update, it involves a KOFF update:
KMS 6.7 -> KOFF 6.7.0.7660.T0
KMS 6.7 Patch1 -> KOFF 6.7.0.7695-p1

Kerio Connect 7.0.1 on Open Suse 11.1 64 bits
Outlook 2007 with KOFF. 100 users

The forced update is really annoying for our users, especially when everyone complains about the popup message almost at the same time in the morning. Some sort of backward compatibility, at least one level, back would appreciated so that we could spread the updates around a bit. This is especially true when the self update fails for various reasons and we have to run around to do the update manually.

You could always use the .msi installer to deploy the update over night when you do an upgrade.

The biggest problem for us with these updates is the Windows mobile clients. ActiveSync fails after the update and the phones need to be re-synced manually or re-configured. It's a real PITA.

The update went fine this time. The Windows Mobile clients didn't have a problem. Smile

The only time I've seen this is when we updated to KMS 6.6.0. That was when the (server side) Activesync was enhanced to match Exchange 2007 and thus allow HTML mails etc. on the mobile devices.

I even remember this being forewarned in the documentation coming with the update... I knew it was going to happen.

Besides the update to 6.6.0, never ever have our smartphones needed a full, manual re-sync.
