Well, seems I am not getting any responses to my previous posts, but I guess I will try again.

How do you get Java to work through Kerio? Java is needed for certain chat rooms, Yahoo games, etc, etc but Kerio seems to block all communication with Java. How can I get this to work without having to REINVENT the wheel? Thanks...

KWF does not block any Java if it is not set in Content policy (URL rules, Content rules).

I have same problem.
I install KWF with default options and chat rooms that use java don't work (for example www.latinchat.com or www.elsitio.com).
I supose that is a problem of configuration in KWF, because I try with Sygate Office Network and work fine.

It seems we are the ONLY TWO that install Kerio with the DEFAULT settings and CANNOT chat. Maybe more people should just AFFIRM that they have problems CHATTING with KAVA so that Kerio realizes there is a PROBLEM.

Hey, I know it's a pretty old topic, but I started using Kerio Winroute Firewall recently, and I'm having problems using chat rooms too!!. www.elchat.com, www.latinchat.com. Any of these chat rooms works!!

Same here. Not chat rooms though. I use a java application on a remote site to test the adsl speed. With Winroute 6.09 this just does not run.

Anyone have any ideas why?

I've found myself testing over and over again, the way of making java to work in winroute firewall, heres's how: 1) go to traffic policy. 2) run the wizard. 3) in step number four of the wizard choose "allow access to all servicess (no limitations)" and 4) finish the left steps of the wizard and that it'll be it!, Java it's gonna work!

I got Java to work on the ADSL Speed test site by turning of the protocol inspector for HTTP, found in the services menu.
