Hi,
I am useing Kerio 6.7 with KOff and one machine is getting the following error

"Unable to open your defalt email folders. Synchronizato::syncHierarchy: Error While calling syncHierarchy method!

I have removed the offline cache on the machine and still get the same error

If I log into the web interface I can read all his email and Calendar etc all works fine.

How do I fix this?

I have the same problem and it appears only by a single user account.
Office 2007 is running fine and if i want to setup this account everywhere else in office with KOFF the error appears. Webmail works fine too.

I have solved the problem.

Don't delete the email account. Copy everything execpt Contacts and Calendar to a folder on your hard drive by using drag and drop, no PST.

Then check if you find a deleted mailbox in your webmail, which doesn't appear in outlook. Delete this.

Now you should be able to run outlook with your empty mailbox and copy your saved stuff back step by step.

No guaranty, but it works in my case.

Got this reply from the support and it worked like a charm for me

Hi Martin,

To resolve the issue you are experiencing on Outlook/KOFF, please try the following on the Connect machine:

1. Stop Kerio Connect
2. On the mailserver store, go to /store/mail///
3. Delete the specguid.fld file and the __keriomapi__STORE folder
4. Start Kerio Connect
5. Make a new outlook profile for this user

Hope this can help some more with the same problem.
/Martin

Occorre reimpostare i permessi sulle cartelle pubbliche accedendo alla webmail di admin.

In my case clicking the public folder (in outlook; not in webmail) gave the sync error. It turned out to be that even though the specific user had been given access rights to subfolders of the public folder, in actual fact he had to have access rights to the public folder itself as well to have the subfolder access take effect. As admin I logged on to webmail and edited the access rights in there.

Hope this helps for new visitors here.

Grtz, Ernesto
