Hey folk,

I see the "retry interval" in the admin panel - is that all she wrote?

What I'd like to be able to do is configure retries based on what type of status was returned back from the server we were trying to send to. In particular, any 500-level errors I just don't even want to retry.

Also, is there any way to track the history of a message in the retry queue? i.e. see how many times it has been retried so far, and what the status value was returned each time?

500-level errors are hard bounces and aren't retried; they're returned to sender.

You should be able to track each message delivery attempt by scanning the mail log for the particular QueueID.
