Hello all,

I am pretty inexperienced with SSL certs and I need a little advice/direction.

I used the admin console to generate a cert request and submitted it to Network Solutions. I have 5 files that I don't really know what to do with.

File: mydomain.com.crt
File Description: Domain Certificate

File: NetworkSolutions_CA.crt
File Description: Network Solutions Intermediate CA

File: UTNAddTrustServer_CA.crt
File Description: USERTrust Intermediate CA

File: AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt
File Description: AddTrust External Root CA

Intermediate CA Bundle for Servers Such as Apache / Plesk and others.

File: Apache_Plesk_Install.txt
File Description: Apache / Plesk installation files

I uploaded the "AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt" via the admin console and made it the active cert and it didn't work. Do I need to do something with the intermediate crt files? Also, the "Apache_Plesk_Install.txt" seems to be an intermedate cert too. I looked at the support knowledge base and I didn't find anything about intermediates. I am pretty confused, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Try following:

Upload following certificate through admin console (you'll also need to upload private key from certificate request)
File: mydomain.com.crt
File Description: Domain Certificate

Copy following files into sslca directory where you installed your KMS:
File: NetworkSolutions_CA.crt
File Description: Network Solutions Intermediate CA

File: UTNAddTrustServer_CA.crt
File Description: USERTrust Intermediate CA

File: AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt
File Description: AddTrust External Root CA
