hey there,

several machines have the following problem and configuration:
win xp pro with outlook 2003 with office sp3 and kerio outlook connector offline edition

when i open outlook some of my mails (i have the feeling these are all html ones or with attachements) fail to open, they don't show in the preview area, a double click on the mail tells me: "Dieses Element kann nicht geƶffnet werden. Unbekannter Fehler" which means "this element cannot be openend, unknown error".
what i tried so far:
1. i completely deinstalled office (deleted registry entries and hidden folders with a manual i found on the inet), reinstalled office then. NEGATIVE
2. i then thought of my virusscanner, deinstalled it, completey reinstalled once again office and kerio koc NEGATIVE
3. now i'm pretty sure that the problem is caused by the outlook connector offline edition, i tried today with the normal version of koc without offline sync and see it works.
4. new mail profiles and deleting the olk folder NEGATIVE

btw. i tried several versions of koc offline from 6.5, over 6.6.2 patch 3 and the newest 6.7, none of them works.

does anyone know what the problem is?

at the moment i'm absolutely stuck and would completely reinstall the system with xp.
