Hello Forum,

after the sucessfully migration from the MS-Exchange Server,
I got some problems with the unicode characters.
- All notes are broken, if there is a german character in the note
- contacts with german characters are shown in unicode format
(M=c3=9cller in stead of Müller)

I was creating a new contact in Kerio with Unicode and german characters:
-
Content-Type: text/vcard; charset=utf-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
Subject: =?utf-8?Q?=C3=84=5FAE=5F=C3=96=5FOE=5F=C3=9C=5FUE=5F=C3=A4=5 Fa?=
=?utf-8?Q?e=5F=C3=B6=5Foe=5F=C3=BC=5Fue?=

CLASS:PUBLIC
LAST-MODIFIED:20090821T210223Z

END:VCARD
-

The migrated contact looks like that:

-
Content-Type: text/vcard; charset=utf-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
Subject: Hans M=C3=BCller

BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:3.0
PRODID:-//kerio.com/Contacts//NONSGML v1.0//EN

N:;Hans;M=C3=BCller
X-FILE-AS:Hans M=C3=BCller
CLASS:PUBLIC
EMAIL;TYPE=PREF,HOME;CN="3D'Hans =":hans.mueller<_a.t_>somehost.test
LAST-MODIFIED:20090820T122029Z
SEQUENCE:1
END:VCARD
-

any ideas how to fix the special characters?

regards Martin
