We have a mac mini running a basic Kerio set up. The Mac runs 10.4 and i would like to take it to 10.5 can i just do an upgrade as per normal (not archive & install) will this keep the mailstore and config files intact (located in the default /usr/local/kerio)

Will kerio burst back to life without any problems or do i need to take another approach.

It would work fine. But since Leopard is using different method for starting services I recommend to run KMS installer after the upgrade and run re-install of KMS on Leopard so make sure the correct startup scripts are installed.
