Hey folks,

I have set up a mailing list for our paging, and it has been working great for a long time. The list has the email addresses of our pager, as well as a few others.

Now I want to start logging all pages in a database so that we can analyze them. The easiest way to do this that I can see is to add another email address to the mailing list, and then use procmail on that account which runs my own Perl script which feeds the page message into our DB.

Really easy, basic stuff!

But I cannot figure out how to do it with Kerio. I don't see any obvious way to have local user Linux delivery set up such that procmail will work. So I thought "hmmmm", maybe I can just set up a mail forward to another box in the DMZ. A standard Linux box that can do regular local delivery, and allow me to use procmail. Easy enough, right? Nope. I put an entry in that other box into /etc/hosts, but Kerio does not seem to read that. e.g. I set delivery to pagerlog<_a.t_>foobar.example.com, and there is an entry in /etc/hosts with the private (RFC 1918) IP address for foobar.

So how do I solve either of these 2 problems? Or solve my problem by some 3rd means?
