When I try to save a calendar entry in Outlook 2007 SP2 (using KOFF 6.7.2) I get the following error message:

Cannot save free/busy information. 0x80040201: MAPI_E_UNKNOWN_ENTRYID

Does anybody know how this can be fixed?

I have this same issue on one user out of about 30. She is on Outlook 2003 SP3. Same error of "Unable to save free/busy information. 0x80040201: MAPI_E_UNKNOWN_ENTRYID."

I have tried the following from another post:
http://forums.kerio.com/index.php?t=msg&goto=62441&S =cab22bd5f7331ae2922bb15c1975ab9b&srch=free%2Fbusy#msg_6 2441

1. Stop KMS
2. Delete (or move) "__keriomapi__STORE" folder for affected users.
3. Start KMS
4. Clear cache on user's computer and then start outlook.

However the error still persists.

A similar error has started happening today.
Nothing in our environment has changed. Except that people are using the new iPhone firmware OS4.

The server is 7.0.0 patch 1 build 1101
The users are using Outlook 2002 with KOC.
When a user enters a new appointment into their Outlook calendar, some users get the error message -

"Unable to save free/busy information. Unable to open the free/busy information. 0x8004010f: MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND"

Few days ago i got similar errors on a client pc, try this:

1. close outlook
2. goto c:\windows\system32
3. find mapi32.dll, rename it to mapi32.old
4. find fixmapi.exe in the c:\windows\system32 folder and run it

Then retry.

You might need to re-apply the steps provided by keithd1229
