Hello all...

This is the scenario I'm in:

1. KMS running on a W2K3 Domain Controller. No problem since installation 3 years ago.

2. Added a W2K8 server and promoted it to domain controller. Demoted the 2K3 box to a member server in preparation to remove and rebuild. Disabled KMS on the 2K3 box. Installed KMS on the 2K8 box with no problems.

3. Copied the mailbox data from the disabled KMS to the now active KMS.

4. Updated the KOC on client Outlook 2003. Reconnected KOC.

5. Latest version of KMS up and running on a new W2K8 server and clients have all their data.

The problem is now I can not access the admin console. After searching here and reading the pertinent KB articles. I edited the user.cfg file and replaced the password with 'NUL:'. But still can not access the admin console.

For the more experienced KMS folks here. What are my options?

Kind Regards,
-Roger
