Is it possible to keep the SMTP delay imposed by Spam Repellant from happening to users that are SMTP Authorized to send through the server? Spam Repellant really isn't useful otherwise, as it causes a 25 second delay to all of our clients when trying to send a message through Kerio.

Thanks!

I've often wondered this myself. Where is the downside, if the users have already authenticated?

Actually, I guess it wouldn't be possible to do, as you've then already accepted the SMTP connection to be able to SMTP Auth first. I guess this is where a true greylisting system is superior.

It's possible if you use other ports.

So, say I set all my users' mail programs to use port 587 for outgoing mail, with authentication. Why shouldn't I be able to disable the Spam Repellent delay on this port, since no unauthenticated traffic will ever be accepted on it? I don't believe that is possible with KMS. Yet.

Actually, I had thought of that earlier. It would definitely be a good solution in lieu of greylisting.
