Hey guys..

Okay, i'll first just explain my problem. I am running with Kerio Winroute firewall on my Windows server 2008. It has runned perfectly for over a year now.
I have recently just upgraded my exchange server 2003 to exchange server 2007, and http/https to the OWA worked fine. Suddently i only can access the exchange servers OWA with http from the outside. Https is not longer functioning.
Locally it works fine with http and https to the exchange servers owa.
First i thought the problem occured because i had installed MS Sharepoint server 2007 on the same server, and it messed up IIS. Well, i had a good look through my IIS configuration and even deleted the owa virtual directory and created it under another website. Still i only can access the exchange servers OWA trough http from the outside, and from the inside it works fine with http and https.

So really short: I cant access Exchange 2007 OWA through https from the outside, http works fine.

Just to be 100% sure that it wassnt my exchange server that screwed up, i mapped http and https to my linux box.. Still it works perfectly locally, but from the outside i still cant access https.

I really dont think i have changed anything in the firewall, before/after it got screwed up.

I have relooked all my policies, and even done the policy wizard and setting it all op again.

My policy for https looks like this:
Service HTTPS	Any	Firewall	HTTPS	Permit No logging	MAP exchange.server.ip.address

(allso tried using port tcp 443 instead of service HTTPS. Same problem)

Same with HTTP and SMTP which works perfectly.

In Status -> Connections i can see that the HTTPS connection is made, and its destination is my exchange server.

I had even tried to put my exchange server on a public ip-address, and here i can access the owa both in http and https.

So bottom line: Does Winroute firewall mess up with my https connections?

Sorry for the long post, but couldnt find anything else about it, so thought it could be usefull.

Kind regards,
Rasmus

Okay guys... I "solved the problem" my self... (doh, i think? Razz)

I was updating winroute firewall, and was noticed that Windows' Routing and Access server was running. (Have been using it for vpn access). After disabling Routing and remote access, it now works..

I hope this can be usefull for other Smile
