Currently on 6.3.0 on Redhat, and need to bring it up to date. What's the best method, and what impact will their be on our Outlook clients?

Thanks.

The steps you need to go through are at the Knowledgebase: http://support.kerio.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=v iewarticle&kbarticleid=5&nav=0

You'd need to start at 6.5.2

Clients? If imap or pop, nothing. If KOC, obviously you need to upgrade those too.

Ok, downloaded the 6.5.2 and am trying to upgrade.

Typed rpm -U blahblahblah.rpm

Nothing. ps -ef shows the process running, but it doesn't show up in top at all and the mailserver is still happily running. Been 25 minutes.

I don't remember if 6.52 rpm was smart enough to stop the mailserver itself but it can't hurt for you to do that.

Also, I'd always do -Uv so I can see what it is doing.

I rebooted and it worked fine, so there must have been a hung rpm from some time ago.

Now: I have a couple of accounts that cannot be accessed via the KOC/Outlook. The KOC updated, and I can put another user account in and it works fine. Tried these user accounts on another box and the problem is the same "Unable to open your default e-mail folders. The information store could not be opened.". Access to these same accounts works fine via the web interface. So...the problem must be with these user accounts. How to fix?
