Hallo,

I use following configuration:

-) external eMails are downloaded via POP3
-) sending by SMTP-Relay
-) Domain-Name internal is the same as external
-) not all users have an internal account, but all are external defined

All went fine unless an internal (on the Kerio-Box) defined user wants to send an email to an external (only defined by the ISP) user. This email will never reach ...

Logging says:

Sent: Queue-ID: 4ad2eae3-00000017, Recipient: <lXXX<_a.t_>domain.at>, Result: delayed, Status: 4.1.1 451 Temporary local problem - please try late

Any succestion?

Greetings from Vienna

Michael

In administrator, under "configureation / domain", on the "forwarding" tab, did you check "if recipient was not found...", and enter the IP address of your ISP's mail server?

Good is better than evil because it's nicer

A slight revision to BudDurland's suggestion:

In Administration, within the domain configuration and under the forwarding tab select:

If recipient was not found in this domain, forward the message to another host

In the Forward to: field, you need to place there the IP address of the SMTP server that receives mail for the external users of your domain, not your ISP's mailserver. For reference, I've attached a screenshot.

Note that I'm referring to the forwarding settings within the specific domain you've set up, not the global SMTP relay settings.

Hope this helps!
