Something I have set up is horribly wrong. If I send an email to a person that I am emailing for the first time ever the message goes to the junk or spam folder. I have SPF records for my domain and I tested then with port 25's check and it passed.

Could I please have some input as to why my mail is being marked as spam?

Possible reasons:

  • The IP address of your mail server is on a black list
  • Something is wrong with your SPF records
  • You don't have a correct PTR record on your mail server's IP address

For a test can you remove your SPF records completely and see if the problem still exists. Also, let me know your mail server's IP address (via PM) so I can check if the PTR is ok and it's not on any blacklist.
