I have a machine running vista with outlook 2007

on starting outlook we received the following error (screenshot attached)

runtime error!
program koffbackend.exe
this application has requested the runtime to terminate to terminate it in an unusual way.
please contact the application's support team for more information

we managed to get round this by using the repair function in the kerio offline connector settings

its now running though the sync again

any ideas why this happened, i want to try and prevent this from happening again

regards
