Hi all,
our kerio backup (weekly full) it's about 100 GB, at the moment we're storing this backups in hard disks, but we'd want use tape backups for this. Could someone suggest an External Tape Backup drive that you have use?

Thank you in advanced.

Tape still very much has it's place in the market for backup purposes. Nothing even comes close when you start talking about larger quantities of data that need to be backed up and potentially physically transported to another location.

With that said, it's relatively expensive.

Is there a reason you'd like to use tape vs. hard drives?

If it isn't able to be taken out of the building, it isn't really backup. Not that there aren't removable drives, of course.
But far too often I hear people wanting to just copy data to a drive. That isn't necessarily good backup either. My http://aplawrence.com/Unixart/diffback.html talks about this kind of thing.

Yes, of course a valid backup methodology includes taking the tapes offsite.

Removable drive cans are quite useful. Something like this for instance:

...combined with a few drives is going to be cheaper and easier to manage than tape for a relatively small amount of data.
