I find it hard to connect to Kerio via Evolution and IMAP, since some very important features do not seem to be supported, such as Kerio contacts in Evolution (only reading) or resources. I've tried establishing an Exchange connection between Evolution 2.28-0 and Kerio Mailserver 6.7.2 but it doesn't work either.

It's my understanding that Kerio offers an Exchange connection so at least technically it should work. It does connect somehow, but I cannot get it to work properly. For example, Evolution does know I need DOMAIN\user as user name because it clearly says so if I go with something else. However, it says incorrect user or passsword when I go with DOMAIN\user and I can't authenticate. What gives?

Also, where can I find the log? Kerioadmin offers a few logs but none of them seems to contain my connection attempts. Maybe it'd be easier and solvable if I could read the logs and find out why exactly it refuses to authenticate.

I find it hard to believe that nobody ever experimented with an Evolution-Kerio-connection via Exchange protocol Confused
