Just upgraded to Kerio Mailserver and KOFF. We are now getting many messages with completely BLANK message bodies - apart from our antivirus footer (AVG) which is inserted when the message is viewed in Outlook - though the missing content applies whether the message is viewed in Outlook or via Webmail. This appears to happen most to messages sent in HTML format - whether from external sources or our own local domain.

Also, ALL messages are being stripped of all formatting information - ie, they appear as plain text messages (when they appear at all) with all font information, layout etc. removed.

This behaviour is the same whether the message is viewed in Outlook (2007/SP1) or using Webmail (Firefox or IE7).

Checking the logs shows a typical message received correctly with a size of (eg) 3kB but delivered as perhaps 1kB. The .eml file in the user directory contains only the stripped down message.

A formatted message SENT out arrives correctly - ie, font, layout, embedded pictures etc. are preserved and can be displayed correctly. This problem affects only messages received by the Kerio Mailserver and the damage is definitely being done by the Kerio software.

Any help would be appreciated

John

I had the same exact problem. The issue for me was AVG scanning the incoming messages in Outlook. I disabled the email scanner and the messages are received correctly now.
