On this forum you find a lot information on setting up the right Snow Leopard clients with KMS 6.7.3, but still it's not totally clear for me.

Address Book.app
I understand that Address Book can sync by the Kerio Connector.

iCal.app
I understand that iCal can sync by the Kerio Connector but also via CalDAV.

Mail.app
There is a possibility to use a Exchange 2007 or Exchange IMAP client. What is the difference between these two?

Can somebody point me to the right manual (instruction) that shows me step-by-step howto configure my Mail.app under Snow Leopard?

You should use Exchange IMAP with Kerio MailServer since it does not yet support EWS - needed to connect as Exchange 2007 or later. I have just posted a video on YouTube o how to configure, please follow it to see how configuration is done:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbFQQbZU1Lw

Is there a reason to use Exchange IMAP instead of simple IMAP?

Thanks,

Yes, it is. Special IMAP folders Sent Items, Deleted Items and Drafts will be correctly mapped to the IMAP folders on the server (ie. Trash = Deleted Items etc.).

That sounds like a nice plus to avoid unnecessary folders.

I use IMAP and then assign the folders to the correct roles with the "Use This Mailbox For". I believe that, once configured, this achieves the same goal.

Thanks for the info.

Nice video..

1: Would be a bit better to switch your system to english while doing it, as it would hit a lot broader (although people should get what's going on..)

2: Why don't you just select the SMTP server already set up by Mail.. Wink No need to re-type it all, as all the details was already there.. !

Good ideas - however, we distribute Kerio in Scandinavia, so I make these movies a service to customers here - some are not so happy with having to deal with English all the time...
Maybe I can do 2 versions in the future.
