I have a client using Entourage 2004 11.4.0 (080122) with KMS 6.7.2 (7821), MacOS 10.5.8.

Entourage is set up as an Exchange account. Every time they start they get a certificate error. See the attached picture.

I have Google'd the web. I have not been able to resolve this issue. I am looking for other ideas/directions.

Thanks.

Len

Can you purchase a real signed cert? That will get rid of the problem.

Download the certificate by going to http://(mail.server.com)/server.cer (Substitute the web address of your mail server for mail.server.com)

Double-click on the downloaded 'server.cer' file. This will launch the KeyChain program. Select cancel, then File/Add Keychain... Navigate to Macintosh HD/System/Libray/Keychain/X509Anchors, select Open.

Double-click on the server.ser file (again). This time select X509Anchors from the drop-down list. Press OK and then enter an Admin username & password.

Try launching Entourage again and see if your error message is gone.
