You need to change your connection type to https:

I would imagine that you are currently using http to access the webmail.

You need to start the "secure http" service in the configuration>services section in the admin console.

then reconnect your webmail using https://

This should allow you to change your password.

Hope this helps!

I have the same password problem.

But using https causes little problems with internet explorer.

Is there no way to configure, that changing the password is allowed using http:// ?

Tank you for helping!!

What issues are you experiencing in IE ?

I use IE and have no problems over https.

I dont think its possible to change the password over http, for security reasons.

Well we have a certifcation problem and some users don't understand, that they have to click the red information instead of the green one. So they will never be able to login. There are lots of calls every day because of this and for us working with http only is the most easiest was at the moment.

That's another way, thank you. I think there's no other chance to implement without any problems.

Thats a good idea, we use a Godaddy SSL which was very cheap and does everything perfectly - also helps when it comes to linking in phones via active sync.

Cheers
