Prior to migration I want to fully test Kerio Connect 7.0 in a full testing enviranment. When I said "full" is with the real users definitions and whole mail storage. But to do so, I need to upgrade a currently full installed in 6.7.3 testing machine to 7.0. Kerio says that they will "track" licencing. so, at the time of this upgrade, data will be sent to Kerio (I suppose) and so: what would happen after testing is complete when I would want to upgrade the production installation? Would Kerio permit or deny that the same licencing date would be reported again?

On the other hand, I can think in installing the testing installation from scratch, as a trial one, and so, I will not report data on real licences but: can I copy users.cfg and storage folders to the testing installation? arey they compatible? or they have to pass an upgrade process anyway to be converted?

and what about having a backup installation in the future? can we have a machine installed with the same licencies and data as production environment for emergency purposes?
