Hi All,

So, just installed KC7 and I'm trying out CardDAV...

1: Why will the CardDAV account not use SSL?
The HTTPS service is running, I'm logged in to webmail via HTTPS, yet the Installer makes a server setting for none-SSL and manually enabling it makes it fail.. !?!

2: Why in the world does the CardDAV installer create a Directory Service entry????
And while we are at it, the Directory service is STILL user specific, making it Not Usable in a company with multiple users on the same Mac! Arrhhhh!!!!

3: I have 2 uses created and Checked to Publish in Global Address Book, yet nothing in the GAL in Address Book.. ?!?!

The usual cause is that the SSL server certificate does not match the hostname (ie. the UR used for downloading the tool). In such case the Mac is refusing to connect to SSL services and the tool has to switch to non-SSL ports when setting up the AddressBook.

Well, both AddressBook and CardDAV protocol implementations are very new and I believe it will get better over the time.
Directory Service setting is necessary because AddressBook is using Direcotry Service LDAP account by default when creating CardDAV account. Probably due to lack of GAL contacts in Apple AddressBook server - which is also an advantage of Kerio Connect implementation.
