I want to use the Mailing List in the KMS.
Is there any solution to use the Mailing List with POP3?
We have an external mail server with the MX-Entry.
At this server I've a adress newsletter@mydomain with
3 aliases newsletter-subscribe@, newsletter-unsubscribe@ and
The KMS pick up the emails via POP3 to NEWS@ where I configured
the forwarding to the internal mailing list NEWSLETTER@.
When I send an email to newsletter-subscribe@mydomain, everything is fine. I can see this email at the news<_at_>mydomain account.
But the internal forwarding to newsletter<_at_>mydomain is not working.
can anyone give me a tip how to solve this problem?
thanks a lot

I've also tried to make this work. I don't think that it was possible.
I didn't use your approach. I did not create an user account for the mailing list. I created the mailing list on our internal KMS and an external pop3 email account on our public email server.
KMS will fetch the email and send it to the lists email address. You can not choose the list address from the popup list in the pop3 account config window, you have to type it in. Mail sorting rules won't do the job (at least not on my server).
That way you could have a working mailing list solution. The downside is that your buddies can't subscribe or unsubscribe from the list by email. Even if you created extra pop3 accounts for subscribing / unsubscribing.
That is because an email to an address like newsletter-subscribe<_at_>yourdomain.com automatically creates a confirmation email that asks you to reply. The reply-to email address will include the subscribers email address plus a random number.
Even if you used a catchall mailbox on your public server it won't work I think (sorting rules won't work with email lists).
You'll have to manage the list members with the KMS console.
