We just switched to KerioConnect today. I am seeing some odd things in the Message Queue that lead me to suspect that I do not have security properly locked down.

With our previous e-mail server we only accepted incoming e-mail from Postini and only allowed accounts to send e-mail with passwords.

But in our message cue I am seeing a number of e-mails from accounts not on our server. I caught these e-mails because they are going to a misspelling of our domain name so they hit a DNS error.

This makes me think we are not secure enough.

1) I am looking at our SMTP Server settings. We allow for relay only for users from our Local Clients group (default settings plus an additional IP range). And for users authenticated through SMTP for outgoing mail. The only Windows machine running in our office right now is our Windows 2003 Server and I don't think it is the cause of the problem (but could be). Is there any way to view the IP address of the sending machine for these e-mails. Is there anything else I should do to ensure we are not an open relay?

2) Do I need to do anything at the server level to ensure that people do not try to send e-mail directly to our server, bypassing the MX records (the MX records point to Postini servers).
