hi, we upgraded to kerio connect 7 a few weeks ago now and have been on the whole very pleased with the upgrade on our g4 dual 1.25ghz powermac running 10.4.11.

we have, however, had a problem with all users logging into webmail. the login is actually fine, but when the next screen appears the minute timer just constantly spins without updating at all.

as a work around i have asked users to log out immediately and log back in, which usually works fine.

i assume this an indexing issue.

i was wondering whether this is a known issue and if it is fixable with the patch that is due for download or will i have to contact support?

has anyone else experienced this or is this unique to our system?

thanks,

mark

We upgraded last night. Funny thing is, if people login at the office, it works fine, some have issues outside the facility, some do not. They can login, but the interface hangs when they try to do anything. I will try to replicate the issue before calling tech support.

The solution for us was to reboot the server. Connections would work without HTTPS, so I figured it was a problem with ssl...when you install Kerio updates, it doesn't require rebooting the server. May be it should. Also, if you server uses a built in firewall, make sure you open port 4040 for the webadmin utility.

It seems the issue of https not working has come back. I put in a call yesterday, but the tech at Kerio wasn't very helpful as after he connected by team viewer, he said everything looked good. Unfortunately, everything isn't good. I will have to call them back today as it isn't working.
