Hi lists,
is anyone having problems sending messages to hotmail today? I have about 50 messages to hotmail accounds and the status says: "4.4.1 Cannot connect to remote host" . I have try to send from a Gmail account but the messages is not received in the Hotmail account.
Are you having this problem too? Do you know if there's a problem sending to hotmail or may be somethnig in my end?

I noted a similar problem in our system. I think there is a problem in hotmail.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. But anyone with an hotmail account deserve to be blown out of the internet.

Yep had the same problem today. But now it seems to work again.

this is not a big problem i think you are using direct SMTP for sending mail. there is many solutions for resolve this issue.

Solutions

1. buy smtp relay from third party.
2. use your ISP smtp server autantication for sending mail.

3rd and final.

a: you need one static ip
b: make one cname at your domain
c: call your isp to set Revers ptr for your ip
example :
set cname at your server : kerio.yourdomain.com
now call isp to set Revers point to xx.xxx.xxx.xxx (your ip)
to kerio.yourdomain.com

now you can send mail to homail or other any provider. con connectivty issue come in future..
