I cant seem to get my mogul connected to Kerio via activesync.

Error:
The server you are synchronizing with is no an Exchange Server, or is running incompatible software.
0x85030022

I can connected via the phones browers with ease. Anybody know what the problem could be?

Are there any other ActiveSync devices successfully connected to your server? Has this Mogul ever been connected, or is this your 1st try.

Has your Mogul been updated to WM 6.1? Which version of the Kerio server are you running? Do the Kerio logs show any indication of the Mogul's connection attempt?

Are you connecting via SSL? Is the SSL cert properly installed on the phone?

I'm assuming you've followed the related Kerio guides for setting up the Mogul:

http://manuals.kerio.com/connect/userguide/en/sect-wm5aku2.h tml#sect-wm5akusm

http://manuals.kerio.com/kmsug/en/sect-mobcert

Unlike in the guide, I think the user name is supposed to be entered as the full E-mail address.

Sorry for all the questions. There's so many variables, it's tough to help without more detail.

THank you for your response. This was my first attempt to connect my mogul to the server via Activesync. It has been updated to WM6.1 and the SSL cert is installed properly. Ive tried with and without the full email address and i am getting the same results. I am using the latest Kerio Connect.

I believe i figured out what my problem was. When i installed kerio i had to change the HTTP and HTTPS ports to prevent conflicts with IIS7. I did some reading and figured out activesync only supports the default ports for those connections. Now i just need to figure out how to run IIS7 and Kerio using the same ports. Any pointers to the right direction?

You have your Mogul answer right there.

For IIS, this might help:
