We are using Kerio Connect in a non domain environment, our external domain name on the server has been setup as I am getting ready to consolidate several networks into a new domain.

I wanted to know if I use .local in Active Directory will this still allow me to set Kerio to integrate with Active Directory, or should I use the sames as our external.

Any thoughts appreciated.

We have KMS integrated with AD and are using AD domain names ending in .local. Just keep in mind that all hostnames must resvolve on the Kerio server and that you enter the .local domain as realm in the Kerberos setup.
