We recently updated from Kerio 6.7.3 to Kerio Connect 7 p2. We are now getting errors in the "Warning" log for ActiveSyncRequest.

Here is the error:
ActiveSyncRequest::Execute: Access for device ************ (user: ***<_at_>*****.com) denied because this device doesn't support policy settings.

In place of the * is the device ID and email.

We only have 4 phones on ActiveSync. Two are on Windows Mobile, one on a Droid, and one on Palm OS. The log is showing errors for all the phones.

But the phone seem to be working fine. I already deleted the account on the phone and re-created. Then it ask to accept the policy. Still getting the errors in the logs. Showing up every 30 min or so.

Any idea what this could be?

Interesting. This usually happens when the Kerio Connect configuration file is modified in a wrong way. I suggest contacting our technical support.

You are right. It was the configuration file. We modified the wrong variable. We put a 0 in AllowDevicesWithoutPolicy when it should be AllowUnsupportedDevices. We'll change it tonight since we have to stop the mail service. Thanks for your help! That fixed our problem.
