Odd problem I can't work out.

Outlook 2003 user has her own account using webdav (KOC) on latest patch and latest server. All works ok. Sent items are showing up in sent items folder etc.

User also has an Imap account connecting to a second account. They use this to reply to emails when this person is out etc. If she creates an email and sends it then it does not appear in the other accounts sent items. It also is not elsewhere.
It's lost.

The mail server gives a record of the email going. Logging on as webmail of that user also does not show the sent item. I rebuilt the index on the mailserver just in case.

Also tested with entourage and setup the imap account and did the same thing. This appears in sent items as expected.

Back to the Outlook 2003 client. Deleted the IMAP account and set it up again - All updated - Same problem - sent items not recorded.

Another problem which may help is that on every one of the sent items in the folder the TO info is blank. So looking at a list of 2000 sent emails you can see the time, size etc but who it is to is blank. If you click on the email then this info is updated and appears. You ahve to do this one by one .

I did a repair and detect on outlook. The fact that the KOC works sort of makes me think it is ok but what next ??

Any updates for outlook (I think it is pretty much fully up to date). Should I remove office and re-install >>

Just not too sure where to look next for this issue. Kerio, Outlook, setup.

Well Fixed

Seems that it may have been an outlook problem and it had somehow lost the path for the sent folder.

They actually had Office 2007 there so I just upgraded and the imap account asked me where it wanted to save the sent items to - I selected the imap account and sent items so something was wrong.
