Hi, I have some users who belong to two kerio domains, say @company.it and <_at_>company.com.
I set company.com as an alias for the primary domain company.it so that, as far as I understand, every mail to user@company.com will be directed into the user<_at_>company.it mailbox.

We are using forward SMTP to our Internet provider smtp server.
My problem is sending mail with the company.com domain: if I use any mail client this is easy as long as I use the right credentials to authenticate with Kerio, but what about using the Kerio webmail? Is it possible to get a user have optional sender addresses from different domains, so that I could send both with user@company.com and user<_at_>company.it ? Thank you

Sending from different addresses via webmail only works if you define a second e-mail address for the user. If you have a domain alias, this doesn't work.

Thank you for replying.

I think this is not a problem limited to aliased domain but for any other domain except one.

What I mean is: suppose you have 2 domains and one user belonging to both. As you said you can add the user as many mail addresses as you like but always for just 1 domain. So when the user logs in the web client he will find many (sender) addresses but always for one domain only.

I find this Kerio limitation quite curious: why does not leave the sender input text free? Why I can not send with any address I like? As long as that user is authenticated by Kerio server I do not see any reason to not allow that (in fact you can send mail from any mail client, Outlook etc, with any sender address you like).
