We have upgraded some of our Mac users to Leopard from Tiger. As part of the upgrade we stop using Kerio Sync Connector for synching iCal and use Kerio's tool for setting up iCal. This has been causing problems in some cases.

In all problem cases the users have Server based Mac OS X accounts. What happens is that the user cannot log into their Mac OS X account or they can but are then unable to run any applications.

We look at Directory Utility and we see 2 entries, one for our Open Directory server and the other for our Kerio Connect server. The entry states that this server is not in the authentication search policy. This was set up by the Kerio tool that sets up iCal.

We can't get this Mac OS X account working again until we remove the entry for the KC open directory server. In one case the entry for this server reappeared after we updated the Kerio Sync Connection, which I thought was odd because of thought the KSC had nothing to do with this entry.

Has anyone else seen this problem or have suggestions for fixing it?
